2024 Mount Moriac Chardonnay

Citrus blossom and white stone fruit notes are enhanced with hints of vanilla from the oak. The palate is already showing signs of layered complexity with the citrus bringing a leanness matched by the soft white fruit and nutty
oak characters that will only continue to meld. A wine that we are super excited about. Ten months in French oak (30% new and 70% seasoned) provides a subtle balance for the classic Geelong citrus flavours and soft creamy mouthfeel.

Wine notes

Hand-picked and fermented in two distinct batches, each aligned with its individual vineyard block, this 2024 Geelong Chardonnay reflects a precise, site-driven approach. Twenty percent of the wine matured for 10 months in new oak, with another 20% in second-use barrels. The portion in new oak also underwent secondary malolactic fermentation, bringing texture and balance before final blending.
