Our story
Mount Moriac Wines is a uniquely located, family-run Geelong wine producer, making single vineyard wines influenced both by the unpredictablity of Southern Ocean weather and the raw austerity of Victoria’s Volcanic Western Plains. As a result, our site produces wines of deeply concentrated fruit with dark, complex and earthy flavours.
Through diligent attention to our soil and vine health and using sustainable viticultural practices, we aspire to join the great Geelong cool-climate wine producers. Every vintage takes us a step closer to that goal.
Our wines
Our wines are a direct expression of the ancient soils we farm and the ever-changing conditions that we face in our unique location. They are thoughtful, elegant, hand-crafted wines with varietal character.
2024 Mount Moriac Pinot Noir
Deep burgundy and medium-bodied with a soft, round mouthfeel, this wine shows finesse and balance. The fruit delicacy is framed by sinewy, fine-grained tannins, leading to a cascading, persistent finish with the structure and depth to evolve gracefully.
